Atlanta is known for it’s hair shows and it’s natural hair community. The annual Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair show is a staple in Atlanta’s culture. Twice a year Naturalistas from all over the world flock to Atlanta to experience this event.
On Thursday, March 30th Shonda Rhimes announced on her Social Media channels that she would be partnering with Dove Real Beauty Productions to bring our #RealBeauty stories to life. Through this initiative she will be encouraging women and girls around the world to share their real beauty stories.

The Third Annual Natural Hair Industry Convention took place in Baltimore, Maryland. It was hosted by founders Susan Peterkin-Bishop and Angela Walker. It was an experience I will not forget.
