Every year New Year millions upon millions of people sit down and decide what their New Year’s Resolutions are gonna be. New Year’s resolutions are tasks, in my opinion, that we set ourselves up for failure for while trying to achieve them every year.
As the mother of 5 children believe me I’ve had my share of scheduling mishaps! There is nothing worse than showing up to the wrong school, for the wrong child, for the wrong event, on the wrong day! LOL. Trust me I’ve been there. Luckily for my last child, my teen daughter, I’ve worked out all the kinks so that I can get this teenager’s schedule right!

The 8th Annual AAMBC (African Americans on the Move Book Club) Literary Awards is coming to Atlanta on the weekend of June 10 -12th and I cannot wait to be a part of the excitement.
I turned on the news this morning to this story and I just had to give my commentary. The gist of it is this apparently at West Point Military Academy when you are getting ready to graduate you pose for a class photo. Like previous cadets before them these young African American female cadets got together for their photo and this was the result.
