My visit to GRUB Fresh Bowls & Wraps was hosted. All opinions are my own
Fall is here and it’s about that time for me to get out and about to discover new food places in Metro Atlanta. GRUB Fresh Bowls & Wraps broke ground on its brand new location on Atlanta’s Southside in Hapeville (near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport).
I was happy to witness this grand opening event as well as try out their delicious new menu. GRUB Fresh Bowls & Wraps is owned by Philip Jones. Mr. Jones is a Chicago native who has been living in Atlanta for 13 years. He owns four Smoothie King locations already and when he saw a need for healthier options on the city’s Southside, Grub Fresh Bowls & Wraps was born. The new quick serve restaurant was created for healthy, active, busy people who seek convenient yet nutritious food on-the-go.
I created GRUB because I would sped hours looking for something quick and healthy to eat. The lack of options made it challenging to maintain a healthy lifestyle while working such a busy schedule. After years of frustration, I decided to recruit a classically-trained chef to help me take my passionate idea and create a solution that left me feeling satisfied and recharged.

Mr. Jones collaborated with Chef Kelley Hicks who has nearly two decades of industry experience to develop the menu. All of the food is made in house, from scratch with fresh ingredients.
Guests can choose Jasmine rice, brown rice and/or a flatbread wrap to accompany any menu item which includes: Jerk Chicken Bowl, Sweet and Spicy Salmon Bowl, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Southwest Bowl, Philly Cheese Steak Wrap, Fajita Shrimp Bowl, Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Grilled Veggie Wrap. (The menu changes seasonally and a vegan menu is scheduled to launch in the near future.) I chose the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and I added Mushrooms from the Additional Toppings menu. I was delish.
