According to AmericaPreachers.com, Waco, TX Pastor A.J. Aamir, recently told his leadership committee that they should not be wearing weaves. Apparently the pastor believes that his members are focusing too much on “…what is on their heads, instead of what is in their heads.”
“Long hair don’t care. What kind of mess is that? I don’t want my members so focused on what’s on their heads and not IN their heads” he told AmericaPreachers.com.”
Does this mean that he is requiring the women of his church to wear their hair natural? Does this then open the door for him to decide on whether they should wear their hair straight and also how they should style it?
