I attended this dinner as a member of Atlanta Food & Lifestyle Blogger Society. All opinions are my own.
I am so honored to be one of the newest members of the Atlanta Food and LifeStyle Blogger Society. ATLFBS is an exclusive group of food and lifestyle bloggers who love Atlanta’s food scene and having fun. My first event with them was The FULL “Chama” Dinner Experience at Chama Gaucha Atlanta (Brazilian Steakhouse)
Chama Gaucha Atlanta
The Menu
Chama Gaucha Atlanta, is a Brazilian Steakhouse located on Piedmont Road NE. Here your steak isn’t served to you flat on a plate. It is served by a trained Brazilian Chef or “Gaucho” carrying it vertically on a large skewer. They slice it and you grab it with the tongs that are provided for you. You control the amount of meat you get with a red and green card that can be flipped to green if you want meat and red if you don’t want meat. There are 12 kinds of meats served which include bacon wrapped filet, lamb, pork and beef ribs to name a few. The restaurant also has a very elaborate salad bar with 30+ items to choose from. Eating here is not just dinner. It is a TOTAL Dinner Experience.
Upon our arrival, Atlanta Food and Lifestyle Blogger Society members were led to an open air patio area for cocktails. There were 3 to choose from. The theme for their entire cocktail menu is based on the beaches of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Their signature drink was the Caipirinha it is a beautiful blend of limes and sugar and cachaca and it tastes wonderful!
We were then seated in a private area. After a short introduction from DeEtte Kattel we were led to the elaborate salad bar. There were so many items to choose from including exotic cheese, assorted fresh vegetables, smoked salmons and more. Everything looked so fresh.
When the “Gauchos” started coming with the meat skewers initially I wanted to try everything at once. These experienced servers knew how to pace their entrances so that we could truly enjoy each meat that was featured.
Our meats are always 100% USDA Prime, aged a minimum of 45 days and seasoned to enhance the natural flavors and unique complexity of each cut…
