At this point in my life my days are filled with blogging, shopping and lunching. I do that on a daily basis. Some days for business and some for pleasure. I love meeting up with my mom especially in the Summertime. She is my best friend and we like all of the same things. After a long afternoon of retail therapy in Alpharetta with my mom and my sister, we were ready to sit down and have a bite to eat so we stopped in to Sweet Tomatoes for a little lunch.
Sweet Tomatoes – A Perfect Spot For Lunch
Plain and simple Sweet Tomatoes is a SALAD BUFFET. Yes this girl LOVES salad and this buffet was perfect for me. Rows and rows of healthier, lighter options. Let’s face it. It’s HOT and who wants to walk around totally stuffed with heavy foods? A good salad is really all you need on a hot summer day and who doesn’t love a HEALTHY all you can eat buffet?
The thing I loved most about Sweet Tomatoes is all of the different stations and options. Not only could you get a great salad with all the fixins but you could also get soups, pastas, baked potatoes and various breads, desserts and other and sides. My sister was partial to the breads. She loves muffins and Sweet Tomatoes had some very good ones. The blueberry and strawberry muffins were delicious with coffee after our meal. My mom enjoyed the hot soups and pastas. She LOVED the strawberry lemonade!
Me? I enjoyed piling my leafy greens high and then covering them with all of my favorite crunchy salad toppings like broccoli, carrots, peas, croutons,etc. The baked potatoes were superb and a favorite. They had both Sweet potatoes and Russet potatoes. I chose the Russet and loaded mine very nicely. Everything was fresh. I ended my meal with a nice cup of coffee.
My family and I had a great visit and will definitely go back.
