Nikki is an amazing woman. She has to be to do what she does. She is a photographer who specializes in photographing newborn babies. Her shots are amazingly beautiful and to see her with these babies is just incredible. I told her that the babies are lucky that they have an angel like her to greet them when they come into the world. At the Good Hair Shop EVERYBODY has GOOD hair! Stylist/Owner Kiyomi Rollins makes sure that she treats each and every customer like royalty when they enter her establishment. Ayanna Black is the person who makes ALL of the updates to this blog. I am soo unsavvy when it comes to that stuff. She is always friendly and readily available to assist whenever I contact her. Even if I approach with the simplest of requests she takes the time to not only complete the task, but also gives me feedback on ways that it could be better. Located in the DMV area this salon is owned and operated by The Sistah Cafe contributor, Keianna Johnson. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Keianna face to face and I’ve never been to her shop. All I know is that I love this chick right here and she makes my day whenever we speak. Her shop is “chemical free” and she WELCOMES children with natural hair. Her styling speaks for itself. In addition to wanting to support my fellow entrepreneurs, I also want good customer service and quality products. I try my best to spend my time and money with businesses who make a difference.
