Juneteenth Freedom – My Quit Smoking Anniversary!

Juneteenth-Freedom

Happy Juneteenth everyone!  Juneteenth is a celebration that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.  It also the day that I chose to quit smoking cigarettes!  Ever since that day in 2009 I have not looked back and the fact that I have quit smoking cigarettes has changed my life in so many ways.  Not only am I saving tons of money but I am also saving lives including my own. Six years ago today I began to chronicle my journey to be smoke free on YouTube and video taped my personal experiences with giving up cigarettes cold turkey during the first year.  Every year I share my video playlist with anyone who is willing to watch them in hopes that I can encourage at least one person take those steps towards a smoke free lifestye.  Please share this post with anyone that you know who is battling that nicotine addiction like I was.
