Grace 1720: An Intimate Private Dining Experience

I visited Grace 1720 as a member of Atlanta Food & Lifestyle Blogger Society.  All opinions are my own.

We were invited out to try the menu and enjoy a private dining experience at Grace 1720. The most interesting thing about Grace 1720 was the meaning and intent behind their name. It’s partially based on the bible verse Matthew 17:20 which speaks of having faith the size of a mustard seed.

“…because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as a small as a mustard seed you will say to this mountain ‘move from here to there’ and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 NIV

This quaint little eatery is located at Peachtree Corners.  When you step inside the room gives you European countryside decor.  There are iron gates, stone and an outdoor space with a gorgeous fireplace.  The private room that we were led to was simple with a single table and a beautiful oversized Tuscan style chandelier overhead.

We were greeted with Sauvage a Rose’ that was full of fruity flavors and sparkles.

The outdoor space was gorgeous.  The massive stone fireplace was lit and gave off a beautiful glow perfect for picture taking or a cozy romantic evening for two.

Intimate Private Dining at Grace 1720

Everything about our meal was superb.  The service, the presentation and the flavors.  Wine was served throughout and we got to try five libations in all.  Here are some of the foods and wines that we experienced.

Charcuterie

Charcuteries are my favorite.  This artisanal cheese plate included was loaded with a trio of cheeses, candied nuts, salami, kalamata & green olives, various breads and seasonal jam.

Caprese Salad

Fresh Mozzarella, Heirloom tomatoes, Balsamic, Fresh Basil

We enjoyed Citra Trebbiano D’Abruzzo Italian white wine which paired perfectly with all of the fresh ingredients.

Roasted Turkey & Brie

This sandwich is packed with flavor.  It contains locally sourced bacon, sweet pepper jelly and Arugula on house made Focaccia.

When some of the heavier foods came out so did the wines.  To pair with our main entrees we enjoyed The Four Graces Pinot Noir

One of the main entrees that came out was Grilled Organic Chicken Breast Risotto.  This one was pure comfort to eat.  The Wild Mushroom Cream Sauce with freshly shredded Parmesan cheese was a good combination.  It was very filling and I would love to eat this on a cool Fall evening.

After dinner I got to try Sherry for the first time.  Armada Superior Cream Sherry takes the honor of being my first!  It was warm and very sweet. I loved it.  It was a perfect after dinner accent.

Gail Johnson and Managing Partner Kevin Gardner were very welcoming to our group.  I enjoyed all of the experiences that they shared with us.  A lot of the wines that they carry are exclusive and cannot be purchased anywhere else.

I was told that there was a magnificent Upper Room but I didn’t get to see that part.  The next time I am looking for a gorgeous place to host a private event I will keep Grace 1720 in mind.  For more information about Grace 1720 go to their site or stop by for a visit!
