EcoHome Atlanta
EcoHome Atlanta hosted a private pre Grand opening for its new store in Buckhead. It was a wonderful afternoon. We got to take a tour of this beautiful store, and enjoy a light brunch with mimosas while we learned about all of their eco friendly products.
Founded by Lawton Hall, EcoHome Atlanta features organic and sustainable fine linens, environmentally-friendly cleaning products, sustainable gifts for baby and pets, kitchen and hostess gifts and personal care items. Exclusive lines include: La Bougie Candles, Nook children’s bedding, Living Fresh organic bedding, Earth Dog pet products, Serving Slabs repurposed from granite counter tops and more.
As I wandered through the store I felt a pair of eyes on me the whole time! It was none other than the store’s mascot dog Luna. We bonded immediately.
There were many things in the store that I liked. I paid very close attention to everything wine related and came across these perfect accessories.
I loved the Rewined Candles. Each candle was handcrafted from a re-purposed wine bottle!
We got to meet Lucy Hagerty, founder of La Bougie Candles. Lucy was previously chef to the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. Her candles are made with ambergris, which is basically sperm whale poop. She finds it on beaches or floating in the sea. Wow! Talk about re-purposed. We got one of these amazing candles in our gift bags and I am happy to report that they smell amazing!
I had a great time learning about this incredible little store store. As a person who grows her own food I can really appreciate a retail store that puts the environment first.
