Cruising in the A: 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE

I received this car from Mitsubishi for a 7 day test drive.  All opinions are my own

If you asked me did I mind taking the 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE for a test drive the answer would be a resounding NO, not at all!  In fact, I really enjoyed being reunited.  Having driven an earlier version of the Mitsubishi Mirage, I didn’t expect to see a large amount of changes from 2015 to 2018, but I did notice a few.

I was pleasantly surprised when the driver dropped off this super cute 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE in Wine Red Metallic.  This sedan version of the Mirage was a little bit more classy and stylish than the Hatchback.  I really had a great time Cruising around in it.  As a Food & Lifestyle blogger in Atlanta there is always plenty to do so I had no problem putting a few miles on this efficient little vehicle.

My mom loves it when I show up at her house with a different car every time.  She is always excited to hear about the specs and the details of each vehicle.  Her first question was, “What color is this?”

It has the same 1.2L 3 cyl MIVEC DOHC engine as the 2015 version.  Giving me enough kick to switch lanes quickly in Atlanta traffic.

This one had a lot more convenience features such as:  Apple Car play and Android Auto Compatibility, Bluetooth wireless technology and Auto Dimming RearView Mirror. Knowing that they cut back on big ticket luxury features to keep costs low I did question why there was no vanity mirror on the passenger side sun visor.  Adding that couldn’t cost that much.

This one only gets 41 MPG just a few miles less that the 2015 version.  I love that it has Drivers Knee airbags.  I got into an accident back when I was in my 20’s and really damaged my knees.  I am sure that this safety feature is a good one.

This vehicle is compact on the outside, while being very spacious on the inside.  We were able to fit it perfectly into a parking space that I am not sure that a bigger car would have fit into. Those 15″ Dark Chrome Alloy wheels really make this model pop!

The interior features were very nice.  I thought that the Leather wrapped gear shift gave it a very sporty look.  The Light Gray interior gave it a sleek look.

The build on this make and model is really nice and looks a lot more expensive than it is with a total MSRP of $18,085 fully loaded.

Over all I would say that this vehicle would be perfect for a college student or young parents who want a higher end look but economical pricing and great gas mileage.
