I received this car from Mazda for a 7 day test drive.
My husband and I just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. We decided to hit to road to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Atlanta. We were happy to do our cruising in the brand new 2018 Mazda CX-3 GT in Ceramic Metallic.
It was so much fun driving this classy but compact little vehicle. With it’s Moon roof and its Lux Suede Leather Trimmed Sports seats its perfect for new couples, college students or two folks who are just kids at heart!
This sporty ride makes you feel like you are young again when you are driving it. Just the two of us with our hair in the wind headed to the beach. Even though this car lacks space it has all of the classic luxury amenities as any full sized vehicle and its just fun to drive. It gets 34 Hwy MPG and has a 2.0 L Skyactiv-G 4 cylinder engine. The LED Daytime running lights were a really cool feature.
For me its all about comfort and this car was comfortable. Some of the “comfort” features that stood out to me were:
Automatic Climate Control with Pollen Filter.
Cruise Control with Steering Wheel Mounted Controls
Heated Front Seats
No Mazda vehicle is complete without the Mazda Navigation System and the Mazda Connect Infotainment System.
We have a daughter who will be leaving for college soon. With the safety components like Side Impact Airbags with Rollover Protection and Smart Brake Support, I would definitely feel comfortable letting her cruise to college in the 2018 Mazda CX-3 GT (Grand Touring)
We were all over Hilton Head Island exploring as part of our anniversary trip. We found a great French Bakery so we went in for breakfast. When we came out the car was surrounded by 4 on lookers. We weren’t sure what was going on, so I asked as we approached. One of the men explained that he thought the car was a luxury vehicle made by another company. When I told him that it was a Mazda he said, “Wow, its very nice!” I talked to him about driving it and gave him a few specs! The entire exchange was pretty cool. Maybe Mazda will make me an honorary saleswoman!!
