The 1st Annual Girl’s Mentoring Program Expo & Fair was everything and The SistahChick & Our Natural Kids was honored to be a part of it. Co-Created by our web partner, Kim Thomas of AfroPuffs & Ponytails and Kara Norman of EmpowerHer Inc. this event pulled together a very diverse group of mentoring programs for girls. Programs featuring everything from finance to science were represented. Young ladies from all areas of Atlanta were in the house to check out some of these wonderful organizations.
Julia Davis of TruChatOnline.com partnered up with us and boy did we have an awesome time!
These 2 little natural beauties won prizes from BodyGlam and KiDz BoXx! We just love it when we can motivate and inspire our young ladies.
It is so important for our young ladies to have valuable programs that are available to them AfroPuffs & Ponytails and EmpowerHer Inc. are two great places to go to find out about programs that may be available in your area. Since this was the “1st Annual” Girls Expo I can truly say that I am looking forward to many years of participation with this awesome concept. I also envision nothing but growth as we all work together to bring the very best programs for girls to light!
