Sistahs Do Brunch – Black Girl Power Edition #BlackGirlPower

Sistahs Do Brunch is a series of micro events designed to allow women to meet & truly connect over good food & conversation.  Since 2014 we have been gathering like minded women together and have been successful at helping those women to connect for business and friendship.  Buiding trustful relationships among Black women is very important and Sistahs Do Brunch allows women to break stereotypes in a safe environment.

Sistahs Do Brunch:  Black Girl Power Edition

When I told Tanya Tibbs, Owner of Wombtique, about my idea to bring women and girls together for an afternoon of sharing and empowerment she signed on without hesitation. She loved the idea and offered up her spot as the location immediately.  Now that’s sisterhood!

In order for women to begin to understand sisterhood and its importance we must teach them while they are young. This edition of Sistahs Do Brunch is for young women and girls ages 12 -18.  Our premise is simple.  We want to spend the afternoon talking to you and your girls, encouraging you and letting them know they are beautiful, important and powerful beyond measure. We will do that in a safe and trusting environment. Each girl should come prepared to share, participate and connect. The only celebrities at this function will be our girls! My SistahFriends and I plan to treat your daughter to a day of positivity, sisterhood & love.

We will be touching on the following areas:
Self Esteem
Empowerment
Knowledge/Sisterhood
Confidence

We encourage moms to attend this event with your daughters.
