We live in a busy digital age. A time filled with electronic devices, 7 thousand cable channels and cities that never sleep. Everyone is overworked, underworked or busy. We keep our children on tight schedules and sometimes even have to schedule sex with our spouses in order to fit it in. With all the hustle and bustle sometimes we miss those small special moments that happen once we stop and be still. The same holds true sometimes for my own family. We make a special effort to be still and spend time together. We try to choose one day of each week where we stop, unplug and just chill together. This is not always an easy task which is why I am so happy about Mrs. Fields Moments initiative to bring loved ones together.
Whether its a friendly card game on a Saturday with your kid… Or an awesome date night with hubby. Moments are important.
Having a stepson that is in the United States Air Force it is nice to know that Mrs. Fields is a Proud Supporter of the United Service Organizations, Inc. (USO). So “Mrs. Fields Moments” works in conjunction with this Organization’s “Every Moment Counts” campaign, and helps all families – whether military or not to make the most of every moment together.
“When you buy Mrs. Fields cookies, you’re not just buying a cookie: You’re helping create moments that matter for troops enduring long deployments. By buying a box of Mrs. Fields cookies, you help give a cookie moment for you and for them. It’s a touch of home to those who need it most.”
~Kevin McDonough, President of Interbake Foods.

GOOD NEWS! Mrs. Fields just announced a contest that will send one lucky family to National Harbor in our nation’s capital! The contest encourages real families nationwide to designate time every week to enjoy a cookie together, and to share these “Mrs. Fields Moments” online.
