Hey Atlanta! It’s almost time for Sheen Magazine’s annual Kimmie Awards. The Kimmie Awards Legendary Weekend is being touted as the Fashion Event of the year! It is returning to Atlanta and will be held April 27 – 29 at the Marriott Marquis. This year’s theme is Dream in Color: Celebrating Ingenuity in Living Color.
I was invited to an exclusive Media Brunch to interact with Sheen Magazine Publisher, Kim Chapman, Editor-In-Chief Sammie Haynes and members of the Sheen staff. Tyler Perry’s The Have and Have Nots, Actor Medina Islam was also in the house. He will be an Honoree Announcer. This brunch also included a delicious brunch that consisted of Fried Chicken Breast Strips and Red Velvet Waffles.

Everything will kick off on Friday, April 27th With with their 9th annual Dream in Color Fashion Showcase to benefit the Chapman Foundation, Inc. followed by the Red Party (Comedy Show and Live Concert)
The Chapman Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Upstate of South Carolina.
