I received this car from Mazda for a 7 day test drive.
Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s we went. My family and I arrived to Thanksgiving Dinner in style in the 2018 Mazda6 Signature. The color was a festive holiday Soul Red Crystal and the interior had Nappa Leather seats in a deep Chestnut Brown.

Not only did we visit local family and friends in this ride but we were also able to get some much needed Christmas shopping done. The trunk space was adequate and all that we needed for our holiday packages.
SkyActiv Technology was a major highlight of this vehicle. The SkyActiv-Drive six speed automatic transmission really contributed to the smooth ride that we experienced.
The interior of this vehicle was amazing. The Chestnut Brown Nappa Leather gave it a rich feel. It was also very comfortable. The fully redesigned seats have high density, vibration absorbing urethane foam. Both the seats and the steering wheel are heated. It also has an 8 inch full color touch screen display. This infotainment system ( MAZDA CONNECTTM) is a standard feature in most Mazda vehicles. You never have to take your eyes off the road with this feature because it can be controlled at the steering wheel and with the hand controls near the center console. We also enjoyed the sunroof.
It just happened to be foggy and rainy this week so the fog lamps came in handy big time. My mother lives in the country which has lots of windy dark roads. The head lights automatically adjusted based on the weather and the light levels from oncoming vehicles.
It was a great ride and as always Mazda kept it classy with the interior and exterior design, plus their attention to detail where it came to basic comforts like usb ports, smart phone syncing leg room and head room.
