This was my very first Candler Park Music and Food Festival but it won’t be my last! #CPMusicFoodFest is a festival that brings together great music and a variety of food for every taste. Not being familiar with any of the music groups did not deter me from attending this festival and having a great time while I was there. Besides they had a real decent food situation that kept me plenty busy while listening to the music in the background. Getting out and about around Atlanta is fun especially during the Summertime when there are Food/Wine related festivals every weekend.
Candler Park Music and Food Festival
There was so much available at this festival. There were local artists, musicians and vendors set up in the park selling their wares and a variety of food trucks. I wasted no time getting to the food truck area to see what was available. I adore “street food” so I considered this a real treat.
There’s a treat (or a few) for every taste here -carnivores, vegans and dessert addicts welcome! CandlerParkMusicFestival.com

There was a very large crowd in the house. Most were gathered to hear bands like Lettuce, Keller Williams Pettygrass ft. The Hillbenders, Houndmouth and Gov’t Mule. Rainstorms the night before postponed some performances. The sky was clear and the sun was out so there was no threats of weather on the day that I was there. Being a foodie my focus was on the food/food trucks and they had a terrific line up. I tried to hit as many booth as I could. Here are the ones that I tried that stood out to me!
Jus Loafin – Original Po Boys and Sno Balls
The shrimp Po Boy is out of this world chocked full of fried shrimp. It is dressed with mayo, mambo sauce, lettuce, tomatoes & pickles.
The PUP Truck
I’m a sucker for a Beef Dog. The Pup Truck makes them to order. I asked for a chili, cheese dog with mustard. Heaven!
Revolution Gelato
Lisa’s Creperie
They will put ANYthing in one of their delicious crepes. My favorite? The pulled Pork Crepe. This thing was so stuffed with sweet pulled pork that I couldn’t even finish it! Luckily my sister was there to help me eat it.
We stopped by the Music part of this festival and even though this wasn’t my preferred genre of music I couldn’t help but groove to the smooth classic rock inspired sounds.
The Candler Park Music and Food Festival was good, clean, Summer fun and I enjoyed every bite!
