There is no better place in the World for a Natural Chick like me, than The World Natural Hair & Beauty Show! Yes indeed! it went down in ATL on April 9th, April 10th & April 11th. It was like A Natural Hair SuperBowl!! It kicked off on Friday night April 9th with a Pre Natural Hair Show Party thrown by MahoganyKnots and @CurlyGirlLexi aka CoilsKinksCurls.com. It was held @ a popular Midtown Bar & Grill and the place was jumpin with Sistahs from EastPoint to Conyers and beyond! Some of the speakers included Local Stylists, The Founders of Uncle Funky’s Daughters Products – Tonya & Ray Reed, Jane Carter of The Jane Carter Solution Products. May I say that this lady is not only very knowledgeable and serious about natural hair care but she is kind, personable and gave off the most positive vibe. I would buy her products based on that alone actually. Fortunately, I had purchased her products before I met her and they are truly great. I am especially fond of the Nourish & Shine, so I stocked up! ***pic of NourishShine

We had sooo much fun @ The pre Show Party. There were prizes and giveaways, and everybody got a giftbag FULL of samples! Some of the samples: Daily Leave In Conditioner from Darcy’s Botanical, MiraCurl Curling Gelly, Wide Tooth Shower com courtesy of NaturallyCurly.com, plus much more AND Knapsgirl was there giving out samples of my favorite Lil Better Butter. The featured vendors went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome as soon as they walked in the door. Gift bags full of samples and goodies were in abundance. Miss Jessie’s and Taliah Waajid dominated in this area. Both booths gave demonstrations and on the spot consultations regarding Hair Typing and Styling.
