Even though we have a YouTube channel with videos on my daughter’s (LittleChick) natural hair regimen.  People ask me all the time what I do for her hair to maintain it.  They want to know what products I use, what I do to make it shiny and specifically how I got it to grow so long, etc.  We get these questions all the time and many more and we don’t mind it one bit! In order to answer some of those questions in a format that people can reger to, here is a short updated recap of my LittleChick’s hair regimen:

Texture
My Little Chicks hair has many textures.  It has an S pattern when wet.  It is loosely coiled but curly in the front.  It is more tightly coiled and thick in the middle and tightly coiled but more loose in the very back.

Issues
In the past 5 years she has dealt with a sometimes itchy scalp and mild dandruff.  (Prior to that she required a prescribed shampoo because of scalp eczema):

Trimming
I trim her hair every six months or as needed.  When her ends start to tangle a lot or start looking rough and dry, i trim.  I don’t do anything special.  I trim her hair while wet (and with leave in conditioner in it)  I start from the back.
