Another birthday another year older and I am grateful to be who and where I am at this time. The key to aging gracefully is to make sure you embrace it! Getting older is about making sure you maintain your standard style and class as you age. It was a pleasure to test drive the stylish, new 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring. When it comes to cars I’ve always liked to ride low in a 4 door sedan that’s sleek, smooth, has all the bells and whistles PLUS a banging system. The 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring has everything that a fly grown woman like me wants in a vehicle and more.
Mazda went to extraordinary lengths to bring new levels of depth and maturity to every aspect of the 2016 Model. In addition to an innovative interior design, the refreshed Mazda6 offers greater sophistication and value with enhanced exterior design, functionality, ride comfort, quietness and safety.
The interior of this vehicle was stunning. Off white leather with black trim to offset the rich exterior Blue Reflex color.

I wanted to see exactly how far we could go on just one tank of gas so I tested the limits! We drove and drove and drove and finally the gas light came on when we reached 322.6 miles. These were city and highway miles combined. The Mazda6 has a 2.5 liter 2.5 four-cylinder, SKYACTIV-G engine. As far as EPA mileage it gets 30 mpg combined. Not bad.
My husband and I had a great time painting Atlanta red in this vehicle. We celebrated my birthday in style, turning the heads of family and friends everywhere we went! My last car review was a 2016 Mazda CX-5 so when we get ready to purchase a new vehicle we will definitely consider a Mazda. Getting older can be just exciting as youth when you do it right. I can’t wait till my birthday next year!
