I got a 1st look and taste of the NEW Nancy’s Pizza at Camp Creek while attending a private event. The event was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Steps Events. STEPS Events is an Atlanta Based Event Planning Firm. Owned and Operated by Jamahl King they have been in business for 20 years and we had a great time celebrating.
Ok yeah I know. Beyonce’s new joint just dropped. FORMATION. It’s hot. It’s raw. It’s Militant! Its the new Black National anthem. ::raises fist:: Bey is telling her haters that she see you and SHE is the queen, so BOW DOWN. Yep. I get all of that. But how cute is that Little Blue Ivy though? As far as I am concerned she stole the ENTIRE show and nothing else in the video matters.

This beautiful 2016 Mazda3 S 4-door Grand Touring came to us in Soul Red Metallic.
My friend and travel business partner, Sherita Daniels and I have joined forces to bring exciting group excursions to Atlanta. With the success of our Wine Brunch Tour we decided to keep the momentum going. Wandering Wine Country was supposed to be a couples day trip to Dahlonega, Georgia. Our itinerary included Gold Mining, Waterfall Watching, Brunch,Wine Tasting, Live Music.
The only reason I watch the Superbowl is for the halftime show and the commercials. Yes it’s true. I don’t even know who is playing but I know that one of my favorite bands, Coldplay, will be the half time show and I know that one Small Business WON a 30 second commercial spot during the BIG GAME!

If I want to piss my teenaged daughter off quick, then all I have to do is ask her if the comic book character that she is talking about is Marvel (meaning Marvel Comics) or DC (meaning DC Comics). Yeah apparently they are two different things and asking such a thing is completely asinine. (Imagine her horror when I showed up as a modified Black BatGirl to her Miss Captain America on Halloween! Eeek!) She loves comic books and is really into Marvel characters… Iron Man, ummm Agent Carter, Agents of the Shield, Nick Fury, Captain America, Thor… all of them. She is the youngest of 4 and her oldest brother was also a comic book fan.

Beautiful southern Winter days are perfect for Sunday brunches in the country. When travelling to North Georgia for fall/winter festivals I love riding in style. The Mitsubishi Outlander 3.0 GT is an amazing cross over vehicle for a drive in the mountains of Dahlonega. This handsome car came in Labrador Black Pearl with Beige Interior. Of course, it has all the bells and whistles that this society girl loves.
As the mother of a teenage daughter I am constantly on the look out for ways to style her hair naturally without using heat or chemicals. She has a head full of thick gorgeous hair and up until now she has been satisfied to wear her hair in twists, braids and/or plaits. She is older now and will be entering high school soon so we have been experimenting with loose styles and trying out appropriate styles for teens with natural hair. I have taken great care of my daughter’s hair throughout the years and it hangs below her waist when it’s wet. Shrinkage quickly camouflages the fact that she has any length at all with her hair shrinking up to her shoulders when it goes from wet to dry.

Race Together was the name of Starbucks genius 2015 campaign to address race relations in America. Basically, the CEO had the idea that if their Barista’s write “Race Together” on their customer’s coffee cups that they would then sufficiently be able to solve America’s race problems through their cups and love. It was a nice idea. Well intended but not thought out very well. So imagine my surprise when one of my favorite actresses, Thandie Newton (Beloved, Crash, The Chronicles of Riddick, The Slap) had to take to Twitter to smack the hands of the coffee giant about an offensive statue that she saw in one of the Starbucks locations.
