I was so honored to have been selected as a speaker on the Social Media Panel for this years Women Entrepreneurs Rock Conference 2013. WE Rock 2013 was created with the sole intention of supporting women businesses in succeeding. Co-Founders Edeline Dryden and Melisa Alaba poured every ounce of positive energy that they had into this event and it showed. Held at the very pleasant Embassy Suites/Ruth Chris Steakhouse the room was packed with mostly female participants from many backgrounds.
Guests were treated to a wonderful introduction by Edeline and Melisa, followed by a fantastic ice breaker with Mr. Tycoon.
Terrance Gaines aka Brotha Tech enlightened us all with his Twitter knowledge.
There was information sharing presented by two diverse panels:
a Business Panel and a Social Media Panel
I really like the tips that were given by Tanya Tibbs (aka The V-Bar Lady) during the Nuts & Bolts of Doing Business Panel about giving back. She said you must learn to give back if you plan to be successful. We were able to share tips about the way advertising and business has changed because of the internet and social networking.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch and were treated to a fashion show.

The conference ended with a riveting presentation by Mr. Tycoon and an AWESOME Give Away. I won this amazing Lenovo Tablet!!
