I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday, than to spend it touring North Georgia’s Wine country with a designated driver and 16 friends! Wine Brunch Tour ATL was amazing and I had a great time planning this event with my team!
We thought it would be fun to take some Sistahs to Dahlonega, Georgia to visit 3 exquisite vineyards and thats exactly what we did. Wine Brunch Tour ATL took off on it’s maiden voyage on a gorgeous Autumn day with attendees checking in from Tennessee, Indiana, Maryland, South Carolina, Florida and of course right here in good ol Georgia.
It was a lovely drive Sunday drive. We stopped at 3 gorgeous vineyards, each with stunning views and impeccable accommodations. I mentioned all of the fine descriptions from each winery’s website in my post The ULTIMATE Wine Tasting & Brunch Experience #WineBrunchTourATL. There are really no words to describe the beauty of actually going there so the following is mostly pictures.
1. Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Winery
At this beautiful winery we enjoyed the views, a Wild Game Brunch with all the trimmings! Followed by our first of several tastings.
We tasted lovely wines at Wolf Mountain. The Estate Tasting included wines like: Blanc de Syrah Brut, Plenitude (a Chardonnay blend), Chanteloup & Howling Red Wolf (a non vintage blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon)
2. Montaluce Winery & Restaurant
The breathtaking views from this winery were unforgettable. We languished on the upper deck and marveled at its wondrous beauty as we sipped fine wines.
At Montaluce we had 3 wine menus to choose from: Red Wine Flight, White Wine Flight & Mixed Wine Flight.
3. Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery
A tiny cabin. An open field with 2 mules and boldest tasting wine of the bunch! At Cavender Creek Winery I enjoyed ALL of the wines that we tasted. I loved the Farmhouse Peach flavored wines and Peach Shine the most.
I also made a new friend!
