Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Ambassadors SE Voices program and have been provided with a wireless device in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.
I am having an awesome time learning the differences between the iPhone 4s and iPhone 5s through the Verizon Ambassadors program. As I mentioned in a previous post it was a simple upgrade process, so getting started was easy. I was immediately blown away with the speed difference between Verizon’s 3G and 4G LTE service. This comes in very handy when I am not connected to wi-fi. I can’t begin to explain how important it is as a blogger and media socialite to always be connected with excellent coverage and service. Obvious differences are the size of the phones. The 5s is longer and the screen is wider this feature truly enhances app and video viewing. The width differences between the phones appears to be the same. The changes between the ports was major because this means that I can’t use ANY of my previous charger cords for this phone. That kind of sucks actually. I am not a techie at all so I am sure that Apple had its reasons for doing it. The size of the phone speakers are now a lot bigger which produces very clear conversations when using for conference calls. The input for headphones has been moved from the top of the phone to the bottom of the phone.
The camera on the iPhone 5s is AMAZING. My photos came out a lot clearer and “devil” or “red” eye is less of a problem. Like I said before, I am not a tech blogger, I just know that my pictures appear to brighter and crisper. Here are some of the amazing photos that I have been able to take. #nofilter
I learned about some of Verizon’s amazing offerings such as the Isis Mobile Wallet, which allows you to use your cell phone like a credit card. I also learned about the Verizon Edge program which allows you to upgrade your phone with no hassles! (See video for more info!)
