The SistahChick is Proud To Be An Official Supporter/Sponsor of Fusion Talk Show

Fusion Talk Show formerly known as Fusion TEEN Talk show is a grassroots, real talk show for young people that is actually produced/hosted by young people!  They focus on issues that affect tweens, teens and young adults.  By doing so they bring problems to the forefront that adults may overlook or simply miss because they do not know what they are looking for and sort of “fuse” them together.

The show was created and is produced by  Shakethia “Queen” Robertson.  Who saw a communication gap when it came to kids and adults and decided to do something about it.  I met Queen years ago while out and about doing my natural hair thing in Atlanta and one day she invited me out as a blogger to attend the screening of an episode of the show.  Co-hosted by two very talented young ladies, Jasmine Akakpo and Somalia Ra-Min, the topic dealt with bullying and I just thought they did a really thorough job of covering that subject.  That was almost 3 years ago and since then I have been so impressed with what these young sistahs are doing that I do everything that I can to support them.  Whether it’s attending their events, donating money, donating prizes/swag or simply spreading the word about them through my social networks, they have and always will have my FULL support.

The SistahChick Gets HYPE! H.Y.P.E. Youth Conference (Helping Youth Pursue Excellence)

I was very pleased when I received notification from Queen thanking me and saying that because of my efforts The SistahChick & Co. would be listed as an official and permanent supporter/sponsor of Fusion Talk Show with a prime spot on their website and everything!

What an unexpected honor! The best thing about it all is that I get to share and participate in everything that they are doing with my own teen daughter!

I simply LOVE the youth and try to do everything I can to support them and bring light to the positive  they are doing.
