I have been in total support of Fusion Teen Talk Show since attending the screening of Episode 2 of Fusion Teen Talk Show: No Bullying Allowed with my daughter last year. Since then I have watched this organization that benefits young adults grow in leaps and bounds. Throughout the past year under guidance from founder Shakeitha “Queen” Robinson, they have hosted many events for teens and preteens and I am so happy to be involved with such a positive group of people. This year Fusion Teen Talk Show is taking things a step further by hosting its first conference.
The H.Y.P.E (Helping Youth Pursue Excellence) Youth Conference is geared toward helping teens in the surrounding areas discuss social issues that they tend to face on a daily basis. The H.Y.P.E Youth Conference will educate and entertain teens while presenting them with workshops that will cater to their specific social needs.
Our favorite teen hosts Somalia Ra-min & Jasmine Akakpo will be in the house, along with Grammy Award Winning Entertainer Eshe who will be the H.Y.P.E. Youth Conference Keynote Speaker!
The H.Y.P.E. Youth Conference aims to provide a platform to bring pre-teens, teens, young adults, parents, and mentors together to prepare them for issues that aren’t typically discussed in their everyday life.
Participants will…
• Learn practical skills that will prepare the youth to tackle the real world.
• Connect with like-minded individuals and educators to build resources and networks to support empowering the youth.
• Expand their horizons around how to transition from childhood to adulthood.
