What’s a Summer evening at home without a refreshing Strawberry-Mint Moscato Wine Spritzer? Boring that’s what. Luckily, there are a variety of Moscato wines available that can be used to make interesting Summer cocktails! I am in love with mixing fruit, garden herbs and sparking wines. It’s the perfect wine combo for a warm Summer night with family and friends or even for a quiet evening of relaxation.
Sparkling wines like Moscato’s are my go to wine when it comes to Summer entertaining. They are sweet, crisp and light. You will find that any sparkling wine or wine blend, especially Moscato will pair well with light Summer foods like chicken, seafood, pastas, salads or a sweet piece of Cherry Cobbler!
My perfect place to enjoy fun Summer drinks is right on my deck near my herb garden. There is something about sipping wine in a garden that makes me feel at peace and relaxed! My favorite summer cocktail is a Strawberry-Mint Moscato Wine Spritzer. I actually grow my own mint to add to this crisp, cool drink. This light Summer cocktail is perfection and tastes super Summery and wonderful like sipping sunshine. This recipe combines several of my favorite fresh summer ingredients. It’s a great way to take a break from this scorching Georgia heat and it’s so easy to make.
Strawberry-Mint Moscato Wine Spritzer
Here is what you will need!
1 bottle of your favorite Pink Moscato (750 ml chilled)
Lemon Lime Soda (2 Liter chilled)
1 Cup of fresh Whole Strawberries
Sprigs of Fresh Mint
Ice Cubes*
*Instead of using regular ice cubes made with water. I made Moscato infused strawberry ice cubes. I did this by pouring equal parts Pink Moscato and Lemon Lime soda into an ice tray that is filled with sliced strawberries. Once frozen it makes flavored ice cubes that won’t water down your drink as it melts!
Easy Recipe!
In a 1-Liter container pour in the ice cubes
Pour 3 cups of chilled Pink Moscato
Pour 1 cup of Lemon Lime soda over the ice cubes
Add Sprigs of mint
Pour into a fancy glass. Use Left over strawberries and Mint sprigs as garnish.
Serve or Drink!
