We Are Empowered Women’s Conference
We Are Empowered is the first in a series of Women’s Empowerment Seminars to be held by True Life Ministries. Our mission: To teach women how to maximize their potential! Not only was I there as a Speaker, but I was also there as a Panelist and Vendor.
The Keynote Speaker for this event was Evangelist Monique Dangerfield. I was joined by the following speakers who spoke on a variety of topics:

Health & Wellness: Soyini Hawkins, M.D.
Beauty & Appearance: Minister Monica Madden, Cosmetologist
Social Media & Entrepreneurship: Stacey Taylor, Social Media Consultant
My personal goal was to share my message that You Can Enjoy and Live your Best Life No matter What Your Circumstances are. To do this I talked about my life, how it changed and how I came out on top!
How your life plans can quickly change.
I had a good job that paid me well. I had 3 years worth of savings and more, but all of my plans came crashing down when I lost my job followed by a series of unfortunate events.
How entrepreneurship allows me to have freedom.
By removing myself from the rat race and creating my own lane online I turned my hobby into a business. I now use social media to promote my businesses.
How to come out on top no matter what
Through it all I still came out smiling with many life lessons learned. I stopped chasing that dollar and I started to enjoy life and all of the little things that come with it. I feel like I’m living my best life now and not because I’m rich but because I am happy.
My message was well received and it was an amazing day plus I got to bless some skin and hair with my Sistah Buttah All Natural Shea Butter blend as a vendor.
