About a month later I got a response to my question from the owner of Pillowsonic. Pillowsonic is a company that makes stereo micro speakers for under the pillow. I was more than happy to try out this product out and boy am I impressed with my experience! They were kind enough to send me the Pillowsonic Pillow Speaker system along with an MP3 player that is fully loaded with therapeutic sounds like ocean waves, nature and calm acoustic music. What I find soothing and sleep worthy is soft rock from the 80’s or R&B love ballads from the 90’s. I am a busy entrepreneur with a home, husband, kids and 6 streams of income to manage. Sometimes its hard for me to fall asleep because my mind is covering a million things that I didnt do or things that I need to do the following day. After a long hard day of juggling tasks its absolutely lovely to be able to lie down and listen to anything I want without the discomfort of ear buds and WITHOUT disturbing my sleeping husband.
Pillowsonic is a flat-designed, stereo, acoustically enhanced set of micro speakers housed in a soft, durable, lab-quality, acoustic foam material. When placed under the user’s pillow it allows private listening while in bed without the need for headsets or ear buds. It’s so easy to set up. You simply:
-Insert this incredibly small cushioning apparatus under your pillow (inside your pillowcase)
-Attach it to your preferred sound source and your done.
If you’re using an MP3 player it fits right into the sleeve of the foam material. 
If you are using something else like your phone it comes with a thin cord that is long enough to accommodate if needed. The acoustic foam has three purposes. It masks the sound and contains it so that only you can hear it and it also helps to amplify the sounds evenly for quality listening. Since the foam casing is removable it can be washed and its texture keeps it from sliding around inside your pillowcase. I like to tune into the latest podcast, audio book or Pandora station and with Pillowsonic I can listen and take my mind off things as I drift off to sleep.
