Happy Holidays with The SistahChick!

Oh what a beautiful Holiday Season it has been!  I simply adore the Holidays, specifically Christmas, Kwanzaa & New Years.  I love the lights, the festivities and most importantly spending time with my family.  I have had a wonderful time closing out this year with all things festive and bright!

Happy Holidays with The SistahChick!

My husband, daughter and I kicked off Christmas with a Tree Lighting Party in Atlantic Station!  There was ice skating, live music, a performance by the cast of the play Madeline and even snow!!

Two of my blogging buddies @CurlyGirlLexi & @BabyShopa hosted and invited me out to a trendy soiree at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta’s Lenox Mall.  I enjoyed sipping wine and eating delectable hors d’oevres while learning about 2015’s hottest trends in style and fashion at their holiday event.

Next I popped over to Upscale Magazine‘s 25th Anniversary/Christmas Party.  It was an honor to be in the presence of this mags founders while they celebrated this milestone anniversary.  It as held at Atlanta’s Cafe Circa and there was a New Orleans style theme.  Guests enjoyed dining on Gumbo, Coconut Shrimp, Plantains, Jerk Chicken and more! This event was hosted by none other than S.T.E.P.S Events.  I love how they always pay close attention to detail.  I had a wonderful time!  A big thank you to my blogging buddy @NaturalBabyDol for inviting me out!

The holidays are not complete until I have dinner and catch itis with my family!  On Christmas Day we loaded up the kids and the dog and headed to my moms for a little Christmas vacation.  Ahh there is nothing better then being with my people.  Not only did we enjoy a scrumptious supper that included many of my family’s favorite recipes but I got to see relatives that I hadn’t seen in a while.  We spoke about what we were thankful for and spoke our visions for the future.  There is no place like home and for me “home’ is where ever my mama is!
