Fusion also hosted a premiere screening of their third episode from Season 2 “Know Your Rights” and forum with guests: Jerria Martin, Selma 2016 Mayoral Candidate and Lydia Chatmon, Selma City Council President 2016 Candidate. For both Somalia and Jasmine, being a part of Fusion has been a journey, one about encouraging and empowering fellow youth. Their time in Selma was an unforgettable experience.

“Being in Selma, surrounded by so much history, was an emotional experience. Just knowing I was walking where many great freedom fighters had been and realizing it was all just so I could stand where I am today, I’m grateful,” ~co-host Somalia.

“Hosting our ‘Know Your Rights’ Episode, talking to Jerria and Lydia, both young women who are passionate about the advancement of Selma and empowering those around them, and joining the Bridge Crossing, I was in awe. It was inspiring,” ~ co-host Jasmine.

Fusion’s “Know Your Rights” episode airs on Comcast Channel 24 in Atlanta or online at PeopleTV with the remainder of Season 2 airing every other Wednesday. As seen on PeopleTV and available on kweliTV, Season 1 includes matters such as everyday life for youth, bullying, sexual reality, positive uses for social media, family unity, and healthy living.  For more information about Fusion Talk Show, visit FusionTalkShow.com.
