Atlanta Black Restaurant Week | September 1 – 15, 2019
Black Restaurant Week is a multi-city culinary movement celebrating Pan African cuisine. Foodies from all over the Atlanta metro area will be able to eat their hearts out with options from a huge list of participating Black-owned restaurants. Key events during this 2-week long celebration include:
9/10 Art of Flavor Pop Up Dinner with Chef Scotley Innis
9/12 Nosh (a Culinary showcase) and Power of the Palate (a bartending competition).
9/14 Sound Bites Food Truck Park

Culinary Fight Club presents The Black Box Challenge | September 24th
Culinary Fight Club is back with another LIVE cooking challenge. Last time the chefs competed in the Sip & Bite challenge for a spot in the National Culinary Fight event in Chicago. The Black Box Challenge will be a bit different because the chefs will not be able to see their ingredients beforehand. All of the proceeds from these event go to Fight2Feed.org to help feed the homeless population in Atlanta. Come on out and taste chef creations, drink Samuel Adams beer, Eat bites from host restaurant, vote for your favorite chef. It’s always a good time. Register here: CFC Black Box Challenge
Whiskies of the World | October 26th
Whiskies of the World is a tasting event like no other in Atlanta or the Southeast. In fact, It is the biggest Whisky Tasting in the Southeast. Over 200 Whisky brands will be in the house. This will be my 3rd year covering this event and I cannot wait to bring it to you LIVE. As far as food, wine & drink events go, I have said this before and I will say it again, the key to world peace is whisky!

Taste of Atlanta | October 18th
Taste of Atlanta hits our fair city every October. This annual food event brings together culinary professionals from all over metro Atlanta for 3 days of festival style fun. With hundreds of restaurants and LIVE Food stages it is easy to see why this is one of Atlanta’s “must do” food, wine & drink events.
I will be in attendance at most of these events if not all of them. I hope to see you there. If you do see me make sure you stop and say hi!
