We had a great time exploring Myrtle Beach. Everything was perfect, the ocean, the weather, the accommodations…all fantastic. But the main reason why everything was so great wasn’t really the place, but the company. We could have gone ANY where in the world, and the results would be the same and that’s because I was with my very BEST friends. These friends of mine or BFF’s include: My husband, My fav cousin Trent (yes I have a favorite) My best girlfriend Rhonda, and my homey James (a guy i met in college) I have been close with these 4 folk for 20+ years and my friendship with each remains strong.
A friend, according to my own definition is: A person who can see through all of your bullshit but still likes you anyway.
Through good times and bad THESE people are still there. We have partied together, cried together, laughed together and bailed each other out (lol). The true definition of Ride or Die. We have encouraged one another, advised and told each other the plain old truth. Before jobs, before babies, before responsibilities they were around. They are the true definition of BFF (Best Friends ForEVER). By the way this was actually intended to be a couples retreat and we were there with 16 other couples for a weekend of fun in the sun! The Beach was FANTASTIC. It was a Breezy & Sunny 92 degrees with big beautiful waves crashing to shore every few seconds. Paradise.
We ate at this place called Dick’s Last Resort. You do NOT want to know what goes on at this place!
Day or night fun was had by all!
The weekend ended with a hearty breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. Before everyone retreated to their respective locations we hugged, expressed our pleasured meetings, and then we left… No matter how all we get I still manage to keep making NEW memories with this same group of people and I am totally ok with it.

Great post Sis. Looks like you all had a great time & enjoyed each others company. It’s great to be able to spend time with your BFF’s and not have any drama or issues. I’m still jealous I couldn’t tag along. Lol would have been the only single chic. 🙁 lol
*sigh* I am so overdue for a vacay! This post made me miss my friends. I’ve been working and going to school full-time for what seems like forever. It’s hard squeezing in time for me.
